Located on the Niagara Escarpment in the Town of Blue Mountains, the Hatchery has the capacity to produce up to 100 thousand fish a year and has been in operation for more than 30 years.

Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout are stocked annually in local water-ways leading into and including Georgian Bay. Rainbow Trout eggs are collected annually at the Thornbury Dam. Brook and Brown eggs are acquired from other Hatcheries.
