Hatchery

The Georgian Triangle Anglers Association Hatchery

Is part of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters Community Hatchery Program.
Located on the Niagara Escarpment in the Town of Blue Mountains, the Hatchery has the capacity to produce up to 100 thousand fish a year and has been in operation for more than 30 years.

Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout are stocked annually in local water-ways leading into and including Georgian Bay. Rainbow Trout eggs are collected annually at the Thornbury Dam. Brook and Brown eggs are acquired from other Hatcheries.

The GTAA Hatchery is a volunteer venture operated by Association members 365 days of the year and is licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
